After purchasing a game from our online store, you will receive an email containing a link to download it. Once downloaded, you will find detailed instructions, guidance on assigning characters based on the number of players, character sheets, and a link to the ambient video in PDF format.

 

The organization is simple:

1. Read the game instructions document
2. Send each character sheet to the player who will portray them (don't forget to assign yourself a character)
3. Put on your costumes and gather together
4. Let Mysterius lead the evening with the ambient video

Decorations Suggestions

Here are some festive and welcoming ideas:

• Fireplace: The ambiance video will broadcast a fireplace fire, which will add warmth to the gaming ambiance
• Christmas tree: If you don't already have one, a decorated Christmas tree with garlands, lights, and ornaments is a must-have to create a Christmas ambiance
• String lights: Hang string lights around windows, on walls, or along stairs to add a touch of magic
• Hanging decorations: Use hanging decorations like snowflakes, stars, or paper garlands to create the impression of falling snow.
• Wreaths and pine branches: Place wreaths on doors and pine branches on tables or shelves.
• Scented candles: Arrange scented candles with pine, cinnamon, or gingerbread scents
• Thematic tablecloths and cushions: Use tablecloths and cushions with Christmas patterns
• Festive table: Decorate the table with a Christmas table runner, festive napkins, and small gifts or ornaments as centerpieces

Buying for Another Person

If you wish to purchase a game for another person, you must proceed with the purchase of a digital gift card. Purchasing a game and then transferring it to another person via email is prohibited.

 

Suspicious User Activity

To report any suspicious or inappropriate activity related to a Mysterius game, we invite you to confidentially submit a report to info@mysterius.ca. Your report should include the username or any other identifier of the alleged offender, a detailed description of the presumed offense, and if possible, any supporting evidence (screenshots, recordings, etc.). By submitting a report, you contribute to maintaining the integrity and security of the Mysterius community.

A commercial license is required under the following circumstances:

• The use of the game for profit-making purposes, whether in a public or private setting.
• The promotion and organization of public events involving the game.
• Operating the game at an event that charges an entrance fee to guests or participants.
• Organizing the game for a virtual or public dinner party. 

 

It is prohibited to sell or alter the game or any associated documents in any way.

 

The license must be acquired at the same time as the game you plan to use. If the game has already been purchased individually, you must repurchase it with the license to receive a refund for your original purchase, within a maximum period of 24 hours. No refund will be issued for the initially purchased game beyond this time frame.

 

The purchase date (of the license and the game associated with this license) is the effective date of the commercial license for a duration of 3 or 6 months.

 

A limit of one Mysterius game per commercial license: A license must be purchased for each Mysterius game intended for commercial use.

 

Once the commercial license purchase is completed, you will receive by email the Commercial Contract, the logo Mysterius and the Terms of Use. To buy a commercial license, visit the store and select the license of your choice.
