Six hot dogs… and far too many guests. Between curious neighbors, unexpected visitors, and hungry stomachs, the friendly atmosphere could quickly turn into chaos. Today, everyone wants a seat at the table… but not necessarily in the most honest way.

Game Concept

A crime has been committed.
Each player takes on the role of a suspect and tries to uncover the culprit by analyzing clues and the statements made by the other characters.

No experience required. No host needed. Everything is designed so you can easily organize your game night and fully enjoy the experience with your guests.

Two Versions, Organizer’s Choice

Guilty on a Mission: The guilty player knows their role from the start and creates suspicion throughout the investigation.
Total Mystery: In this version, the culprit’s identity remains secret until the final reveal, even from the player portraying that character.

The Mysterius Concept

An immersive ambient video drives the game forward, guides the players, reveals clues, and creates interactive moments that make the investigation more dynamic and realistic. It also allows the organizer to play and discover the outcome at the same time as the other participants.

Friday, August 16th. It is a perfect summer day to begin the summer vacation and everyone is happy. The sun is shining, the weather is perfect, a soft breeze is blowing and you can hear children yelling and playing joyfully in the swimming pools of the neighbourhood. Some people are taking advantage of the weather to water their flower beds; others prefer having an impromptu get-together around a good meal.

There is a sale on the best sausages in town and David, the Hibberton county deputy, decides to buy six. He also purchases long buns and condiments to make deluxe hot dogs for a BBQ dinner he is organizing with Amanda Joly who newly arrived in the neighbourhood. However, the delicious smell emanating from the BBQ as he is grilling the succulent wieners attracts unwanted onlookers of the foodie or hungry variety.

The neighbour and his girlfriend are the first ones to invite themselves and they have brought sodas to compensate for their guilt over the unwelcome BBQ crashing. The Mayor, knowing that David is going away on vacation the next day, came over to have him sign a document and did not put up much of a fight when David politely invited her to stay. Among all the people who joined the dinner party, the most unusual guest is without a doubt the chocolate salesman who, trying to make a few extra bucks, made his way inside when no one answered the door. Fortunately, for those who joined the BBQ dinner, David’s generosity will allow them to taste one of these six delicious hot dogs, or so they hope.

Decorations suggestions

We suggest using rustic elements such as checkered tablecloths, wooden boards, and barbecue utensils for decoration. Install string lights or lanterns to create a cozy and warm atmosphere. Decorate with typical barbecue accessories like aprons, oven mitts, and grilling tools.

Tapas suggestions

Since the game references 6 hot dogs, it would be preferable to avoid serving this type of food. The ambient video will show the 6 hot dogs grilling on a barbecue.

We propose serving tapas inspired by barbecue cuisine, such as:

Mini skewers: Prepare small skewers of meat, chicken, shrimp, or vegetables that you can season with marinades

Rib bites: Serve small portions of pre-cooked ribs smothered in barbecue sauce

Potato salad in shot glasses: Offer small portions of potato salad, a barbecue classic, served in shot glasses for easy consumption

Burger sliders: Create mini burgers or sliders with different toppings and sauces

Spicy chicken wings: Provide marinated and grilled chicken wings with your choice of sauce - mild, spicy, or smoky

Grilled corn bites: Serve mini grilled corn on the cob or seasoned corn kernels

Nachos with salsa and guacamole: A shareable dish, perfect for snacking during the game

Sausage rolls: Mini sausages wrapped in pastry, baked to mimic the taste of grilled sausages

Grilled vegetables with dip: Offer a selection of grilled vegetables accompanied by various dips, such as ranch sauce or aioli

These tapas can be presented attractively on wooden platters, metal trays, or rustic plates to reinforce the barbecue theme. Don't forget paper napkins and toothpicks for easy and clean tasting.
A commercial license is required in the following situations:

Use of the game for profit, whether in a public or private setting

Organization or promotion of public events involving the game

Use of the game during an event requiring an admission fee

Any use of the game in a public, promotional, or professional setting

Exemption:

A company may use a game without a license for an internal, private, non-profit activity intended exclusively for its employees.

Conditions:

The game may not be sold, modified, or transferred

A commercial license is required for each game used

The license must be purchased at the same time as the game you intend to use

If the game has already been purchased individually, it must be repurchased with the license in order to receive a refund for the initial purchase within a maximum delay of 24 hours. No refunds will be issued after this period.

The purchase date (of both the license and the associated game) constitutes the effective date of the commercial license for a period of 3 or 6 months.

How to obtain a license

To obtain a commercial license, select the 3-month or 6-month license that best suits your needs from the store, along with the game associated with that license.

Once the purchase is completed, you will receive by email the commercial agreement, the Mysterius logo, and the terms and conditions of use

Purchasing for another person

If you wish to purchase a game for another person, you must purchase a digital gift card. Purchasing a game and then transferring it by email to another person is prohibited.
